Necromancer…

Hi guys. Oh, you saw the title?! Yeah, I know. Not really a thing you want to read, but don’t worry guys this isn’t what it looks like. Oh my god, that was total cliché. So, back to the main subject, this is my book blog, and no the novel’s name is not that like who could name their book like that, no offense.

So, the books are kind of about her, I mean our one and only protagonist, Chloe. And no this is not only based on a necromancer, there are other characters like witches, sorcerers, werewolf, etc., etc. Ah, you know me guys, I love fantasy-based stories, the things that can’t be real but our own imaginations. The books are about these supernatural creatures, who are only children like 14 to 16 years old but they go through some stuff that toughen them up.

The Darkest Powers Trilogy is the 3 books series, that are going to take us to another world and spin our very imaginations.

The Summoning

The Awakening

The Reckoning

‘Chloe Saunders used to have a relatively normal life.

But now she finds herself in the middle of some really strange situations because:
~She suddenly starts seeing dead people.
~She gets locked up in a group home for unstable teens.
~The group home isn’t what it seems.

My name is Chloe Saunders and my life will never be the same again.

All I wanted was to make friends, meet boys, and keep on being ordinary. I don’t even know what that means anymore. It all started on the day that I saw my first ghost—and the ghost saw me.

Now there are ghosts everywhere and they won’t leave me alone. To top it all off, I somehow got myself locked up in Lyle House, a “special home” for troubled teens. Yet the home isn’t what it seems. Don’t tell anyone, but I think there might be more to my housemates than meets the eye. The question is, whose side are they on? It’s up to me to figure out the dangerous secrets behind Lyle House… before its skeletons come back to haunt me.’

Chloe Saunders, our main female protagonist, is a 15-year-old girl who just had her first period, and then she starts to see ghosts. The novel is from Chloe’s point of view and the strong female lead as you know always finds a way to get her adventures even if they are accidentals. The Lyle House is the one where the actual adventure of our Chloe and her soon-to-friends starts.

‘I wanted to walk over there. I wanted to curl up beside him, lean against him, talk to him. I wanted to know what he was thinking. I wanted to tell him everything would be okay. And I wanted him to tell me the same thing. I didn’t care if it was true or not, I just wanted to say it, to hear it, to feel his arms around me, hear the rumble of his words, that deep chuckle that made my pulse rase.’

The exciting but dangerous adventure is going to shape 15-years-old Chloe and her friends and as well as our minds. I like that the books and Chloe show us that don’t always trust things we see or hear but trust our true instinct and to protect our loved ones that steps we take, try not to regret it if those backfires, but keep going.

These two aren’t official books pictures but I quite like them, they show the beast and the human, and even if the beast is beast he is still her friend and still her protector.

Thank you very much guys for reading my silly blog, hope you like it. Stay safe. Stay fit. Good-bye.
